Alright I got time,
The 911 Turbo n/c between the Corvette.
Info:
Porsche 911 Turbo
Engine: 3.6 litre flat-six
Power: 415 Bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 560 Nm (Between 3500 and 4500 rpm)
Compression ratio: 9.4:1
Weight: About 3395 lbs (Manual) 3495 lbs. (Tiptronic)
0-62 mph: 4.2 sec. (Manual) 4.9 sec. (Tiptronic)
0-100 mph: 9.2 sec. (Manual) 10.6 sec. (Tiptronic)
Top Speed: 189 mph (Manual) 185 mph (Tiptronic)
www.porsche.com
Chevrolet Corvette
Engine: 5.7 litre LS1 V-8
Power: 350 Bhp @ 5200 rpm
Torque: 375 @ 4400 (manual) 360 @ 4000 (automatic)
Compression Ratio: 10.1:1
Weight: 3120 lbs
0- 60 mph: 4.6 sec. (manual) 4.9 sec. (automatic)
0-100 mph: 11.7 sec.
Top Speed: 175 mph
www.chevrolet.com
* On the chevy website, the Z06 has a faster 0-60/0-100mph, is almsot comparable to the turbo, and ironically has a lower top speed of 171 mph. If you say Z06 well that changes the story, but my vote is still for the turbo.

Point to point the 996 Turbo is possibly the fastest car in the world. That should answer your question

question is ... staight line.... top speed, quatermile...
or track times....
cause 0-60 my targa is the same as a vett, top speed the 911 is better by a few miles per hour,
and track times there is no way a vette will stick with a 911
not if you are talking about the 911 turbo there is no contest, hands down it'll spank a vett
but like mentioned the z06 will be a bit of a better match, but track time will still be in the 911s advantage!

When you said tt i thought you meant crappy Audi TT, i was like "I dont see any TT's" :D
is the first black porsche a Boxster? hard to tell... the alloys dont look like Boxster alloys... they look like GT3 alloys which are only on 911's as far as ive seen...
anyway, i take it yours is the grey one next to the black porsche... if so, yes, its a very nice car in a very nice colour... the interior looks good too... is the colour terracotta or beige?

PS. why are you storing it during the winter? Its a Porsche, it can handle the rain for decades to come!
and if youre worried about the actual driving of the car in the wet, nothing beats the Porsche traction control system!
dont put it away for winter... you'll miss it too much ;)

The first Porsche on the left in that pic is a Boxter S thats why it has those wheels and the red calipers, then it's my targa and then the silver twin turbo.
as for the winter, i'm in Canada and it's nasty up here, it's currently -27C outside and there is no way i'll drive it in the winter, i miss it already :(
but it sure will be appreciated in the spring!! :evillaugh:
the interior is light, it's called savanna brige.
thanks for the compliments.
