Are Turbo Timers actually useful?

I was wondering if turning off ur engine after driving it will screw up ur turbo.....and if i should buy a turbo timer...thanx guys

It will be fine as long as you give it some time to cool down. It all depends on how hard you’ve driven it too. The harder you drive it, the longer you need to give it. I had a turbo timer installed for pure convenience so that I can turn off the engine as soon as I get to where I’m going. My husband doesn’t have one, he just times it for about 30 seconds to a minute and then turns the engine off. It all depends on whether you want to spend the extra money for convenience or not.
