I have a 2000 Silhouette that the power sliding door is not working at all. I tried resetting it as stated in an earlier post, but still nothing. I checked the codes and only got the '12' code. All I hear when pressing the button is clicking coming from the relays in the main control box. Does anyone have an idea of what to do? the power locks when you put in drive they automatic lock, and when you shut engine off locks should unlock. now both have quit also. locks work manually. is there anything that is tied in together with this problem? any help with this. Thanks in advance

Try cleaning the contacts on the door jam and the pins (7, if I remember correctly) that stick out of the front edge of the door. This fixed a few problems for me, and I have had to do it a couple of times. Even a little light sandpaper will do, it doesn't take much.

I know this is an old post but I thought I could help someone out there with my findings...
I own a 95 with a power door. The door was moving rough and sounded like it was having a hard time moving the door. Upon inspection I realized that the rollers and tracks where clogged with old grease, dirt and rust. I cleaned the tracks the best I could but then regreased the whole thing. This made the door work much faster and close much easier. I always think to myself if it moves it needs lube. Not always true with pulleys and such but for doors and cables seems to always add a bit of help.
