'01 Max SE vs '96 Mustang GT

I have this friend who just got a mustang, he is the type who thinks everything he has is MUCH better than what you have. I am sure you know the type. Before I even start talking to him about cars I want to know if anyone has experience racing these two cars and would know who would win. Thanks for you advice!

prob be a close one cuz he has a GT. if it was jus a stock it would be no contest, you would kill him.

How much does each car weigh?

What is the drive axle gear ratio of each car?

Is it going to be a 1/4 mile run or more?

Are you sure he has the V8? If he has the V8 its no contest. He will beat you. I have a friend with a GT V8 convertible and since its convertible its 250 lbs heavier than the normal GT V8. And it is fast, runs in the low 14s. So if your friend has a Mustang GT V8 non convertible 5 speed go for it, just dont talk too much $hit about how much faster your car is beforehand. An automatic will be alot closer, but still beat you.

what kinda traneys are you guys running... I usta have a 00 max (auto) and I could hold my own againced auto GT's, But I had dune every mod but the supercharger (ie Ypipe, ignition, under drivepully, intake and exost)
