I have a 95 explorer that will not start and plan to troubleshoot during lunch. Last night after work, turned key to no start. Tried jumping in case of weak battery, but that was not the problem. While waiting for a ride, no tools on hand, tested the solenoid and it checked out ok. Wanted to get some ideas on trouble shooting. First I plan on cleaning off positive post. I don't know if it's not getting fuel (fuel pump or injector) or what but wanted to go through a process of elimination. I did turn the key when i arrived this morning and it turned, real rough, but didn't run. Thank you in advance for helpful suggestions.

Working on it this weekend. One thing I should mention that I've noticed lately is that the radio preset stations would reset every now and then causing me to think loss of power. Also, about a month ago went to push power locks and nothing happened, no power, no lights. Turned the key in ignition and then everything worked fine.
I do know to check for spark, check if fuel pressure (havent located a valve but could at least unhook fuel filter from the fuel pump side to see if pump functioning. I did the old fuel pump relay switch with a couple other similar size relays and nothing changed. So I guess checking to see that I have spark on plugs and checking to make sure i'm getting fuel will be the best starting points. But suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

It didn't take long to find out fuel pump wasn't working properly. Replaced the pump and filter and runs great.
