2000 engine swap

okay i have the 2000 3.0L V-6 and would a J30A1 be swapped for a J30A4?

why would you want to...i'm not really knowledgeable about those cars, but wouldn't you be able to just swap the head because the blocks are the same. I don't get why you would swap that tho...there can't be that much of a power gain...

well i plan on getting the works as far as performance upgrades. Turbo, intercooler, FI, fuel reg, and new ECU. I would also have to replace the tranny with a high performance tranny from level ten I got a price quote for it.

SC the one you have and get an auto----->manual swap....you don't need a new engine...

I have read that SC are only good to 4000 RPM's and turbo shows more power at top end. But I only want to have the quick get up and go from dead stop. Even with the SC would I need to change any OE parts to high performance parts like Pistons, FI, and ECU?
