Flushing Coolant System

I will be installing new intake manifold gasket on 96 Silverado 4X4, 5.7L Vortec. The intake has been leaking for a short time, in order to get by with a temp fix I used STOP LEAK. I am looking for a inexpensive solution to flushing the system to remove the Stop Leak residue. Would a dish washing soap or something of that nature and water mixture circulating thru system for a amount of time work??

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all ideas.

I think it would be best to use a good cooling system flush since it is designed for flushing cooling systems.

Dish washing soap could foam if you do not get it all out and that could be messy.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

Put in some coolant flush fluid and take it for a good drive. Then flush as soon as you get back.
