Well, I am here to say thank you to you all (for all of your help) and that I love you all.:icon16:
As of January 24, 2006 the Mitsubishi Eclipse RS is no longer mine...I know it was the bottom of the barrel model, but for a first car, it meant alot to me. I am already missing it and its immense speed.:grinno: I sold that bad boy to a now new friend for $3500.
I soon hope that I might have the chance to buy another DSM but this time AWD!:iceslolan
For now I am going to stick with the Cool Cav (2002 Chevy Cavlier) and save up to buy a 1999-2004 Mustang GT.
Once more Thank You all very much for your time and help!!!

I think I could have but there were some minor problems with the car, but its all good. Broken speedo, therefore inaccurate milage...worn motor mount...and other little minor things.
LOL...why do you say you will be "soooooooo happy"? What is wrong with car now?
Mexrocket-
I was actually thinking that if a 95ish BMW M3 pops up for a good price, I will definitly hop on that
It really sucks driving around a auto cavalier...not the the most manly car out there.....but still gets the job done:naughty:

Yeah, Cavy's suck :p. Due to college I think it will end up staying with me while a 1g AWD gets a storage unit somewhere near campus. As long as I dont have a picky roommate, I might get the engine built in my dorm :naughty:. Anyway, congrats on the sale, I hope you find a sweet car. My two cents: including the cost of a car, 30k could build you one monster DSM or a mere 400hp Mustang, is there even an arguement? Just playing (definacy) ;).

The 99-04 GT is a great car. Okay on gas, but just a good ride all together.
Now the m3, While I love bmw's, they are expensive as hell to fix if they break. And real expensive to mod.
In a price breakdown.

Absolute, you gonna stick around just so I have someone else to argue with about mustangs?

Man, I love my cavalier, despite the fact that it is a cavalier....let me tell you something, that car dominates...one time me and my friends where going mudding, I was just bringing the cavalier to the meeting place and then I was going to ride in my friends Toyota Tacoma 4x4...well when we got there I was feeling a bit stupid so I decided to take the cavalier through the mud before any of the other trucks had gone through them first (therefore I didnt even know how bad the ruts where and how soft the mud was)...SO I picked up some speed went flying through the mud, I made it through but then again I probably just hydroplaned over it, lol. The ironic thing about the whole day was that my friends jacked up 4x4 Tacoma (with locking front differential - his car will haul ass) was too scared to go through the same mud trail that I went through, his excuse was that his truck isnt paid off yet and he cant risk breaking anything...which is understandable......I think I maybe pushed the cavalier to its limits that day.:icon16:

LMFAO
You see, the immense power that the Cool Cav throws to the ground with its 14 inch front wheels just pulled it right through that mud.

A little off topic, BUT there is a guy in town with a 1979ish 280z with a 13" lift (at least) and like 44" mudders on 15x12(?) rims. Looks really silly :silly:

Cavaliers, fuck yeah! I almost beat a 5.0 in mine one day. I didnt get on the gas fast enough as I let out the clutch so it bogged hard core bad and then got up. It launched me, but I stayed with it once I got my shifting back. At like 65 when we had to slow down for the next light my nose was even with his rear 1/4 panel. I also raced my friends '88 Delta 88. I lost . The snow was melting and the roads were wet, I didnt even launch and I got no grip so I backed off and got a little traction and took it up. Then I nailed 2nd and they kept spinning! I was like fuck it and just held it there. Man it was fucking embarassing. It still slides better than any other punk ass in town, no one can touch the Big D when it comes to getting sideways ;). On the 80's Cavys though, when (more like IF) Mike finishes his DSM (after we are have good jobs and are fairly secure once we move out) we plan on buying an old cruster to covert to RWD and drop in a V8. For a while the Cavalier forum had like 10 newbies a week wanting to dop in a V6 or V8, but none of them had close to any clue what would need to be done. We do ;) so if Mike ends up making a shit load of money and wants to blow it on a Cavalier then guess who gets to do 90% of the work? :grinyes:
