Ls1 Edit?

A buddy of mine told me about Ls1 edit.? Any comments on it or advice? Also who can do it for me?

It tunes the car.
If you don't know how to use it...don't buy it.
Just have a shop tune your car.
Tune probably isn't worth much power if there are no mods done.

I agree if you don't know how to use it, don't buy it, unless you want a lot of trial/error and learn it.
Well...I don't know if I would say that tune on a stock car wouldn't help. I tuned Justin's car(guy I know from NJ who is going to Drexel) when all he had was 373s and a catback. His Gtech time when down around 1/2 second if I remember correctly.
Then again he had an automatic and the torque management was killing him(btw, if you haven't done so already, put a value of 650 in there). He said just doing that he noticed a huge difference. Also his timing went from 28~>31 with a little more fuel that car was haulin'. 1st gear roll @ 10mph, and him punching it, the tires were actually about to break loose. From the time I started tuning it to the time I was finished, it was a big difference.
Obviously having mods are a lot more fun/gain from a tune, but stock you can definately tap out more power.

Well i have a flowmaster, shift kit, k&N and a 4:10 rear end. mines an auto.
So what do u guys suggest?

If you have a good LS1 shop near you, have them do a tune. Or if you know someone with LS1edit/HPTuners, let them change your gear ratio/shift points/torque management/dial your injectors in exactly, add some timing and adjust the fuel in the PE(power enrichment). not sure where you are at but that's what I would say. Don't need a dyno tune but a tune is better then no tune especially with gears and that you have an auto.

A good dyno tune will run $450+. Normally closer to $550.
A good base performance tune can be around $200.
With your mods...I would do it. I would probably lean towards the performance tune.
If you were an M6...I would say just have them adjust for the gears.
