2000 CLK How do I remove dashboard?

My 2000 CLK430 has Dashboard bulbs that are out.
How do I remove dashboard?

Move steering wheel out as far as possible. Take the two wire hooks made for the purpose and pull the cluster out far enough to undo the plugs in the back of cluster. Remove cluster. Hooks can be bought cheaply on e-bay or fabricated after looking at tool on e-bay. Replace bulbs.
