Fifth Generation Camaro? 2009?

I got the latest Hot Rod issue in the mail today and the next generation Camaro is on the front page. Didn't GM realize at the time they put the Camaro/Firebird on the chopping block that Ford would have the market with the Mustang? Of course the Mustang being based on the late '60's stlye and the Camaro is based on the first generation '67-'69 cars. Plus Dodge has their Hemi cars and they plan to have a Challenger in '08.

Did anyone realize the concept Camaro has two different mirrors?

I'm not so sure I like next generation Camaro too much. I don't know, maybe it'll grow on me. The concept sports the 400hp LS2. What about the LS7? Wink wink... nudge, nudge.

i not not saying this directly to you but, every time chevy comes out with something new or remakes something someone always has somthing bad to say about them, but not every one likes the same thing. i just get PISSED when people say that chevy is copyin off ford. But dodge just came out with a crap load of hemie cars, the new jeep that does 0-60 in under 5sec and the chalenger, charger. But the thing is they all look the same. They almost have the same front and back ends, like the magnum and charger they look the excetly the same. But i am shure chevy will blow them off the road when the new camaro comes out!!
