Next Project: AE101 Corolla Levin

Today the kits I had ordered a while back came in the mail, i receieved a Fujimi Apex Gymkhana DC2 along with this one, the Toyota Landmark Corolla JTCC race car. The racing decals look rather old and fragile, so most likely i'll be building this up as a street car.

A little progress, I cut out the front grille between the headlights, going to add some mesh in the future.

Got to work on the interior today, black paint spilled all over the decals so it looks like no race car version either way.

Just realized there are two kinds of exhaust, a dual exhaust which looks like it may belong on a street car, than a single outlet exhaust (racing type like on the real race car) that comes out in the center. what do you think?

Street car + center single exhaust = Sunday Racer? lol Either way it'll look good, mebbe u could slant the single exhaust to the side. Nice kit the AE101. :licka:

Type in the full name like Toyota Corolla Levin AE101 etc, hopefully it'll help refine the search.

Yeah, the google search hasnt shown a whole lot. Lots of tiny pictures and stock Levins

Despite all of the dust, I think i've decided on this dark gray color. Of course, it's only in one mist coat, it seems this paint will suit the car well.
