Replace door lock keypad buttons

I had to remove 3 keypad buttons to remove oxidation. How do I get them to stay in tightly after I put them back? They just popped out when removed.:screwy:

You're on your own there -- that's a one piece assembly, meaning if you had to replace the keypad, you need the whole assembly.
I can only imagine the buttons are fitted like gaskets between the chrome trim and the circuit board, aiding in keeping the innards dry. If you remove the keypad from the door, it may become obvious how that assembly is put together.
I'm sure lots of folks have had this keypad assembly in their hands --

I missed that post I guess? From the picture tribaldragon posted, the buttons don't look like they should pop out seperately.. more like torn out :)
