i have a 1997 Z71 and my door buzzer doesnt work i dont know if someone has removed it or what has happened to it...where is it located at ??

It's a black box 1" wide and 2.5" long, it should be plugged into the right side of the fuse block beneath the dash behind the emergency brake and to the left of the clutch or brake pedal.
If you see eight slots with nothing plugged in then it's missing.
If it is still there, pull it out and check the prongs. I always bend the prong that buzzes when the key is in and the door is open. The buzzer for the lights still works.
The buzzer has seven prongs. the one for the key in the ignition is indicated with an X

There is a tab on the side that can be pushed out with your finger to release the buzzer

I really wish I would have know that, I just took mine out. :banghead: Sometimes I leave my lights on and half to walk back. Just frustrating. I'm sure I can find one at a junk yard or somthing.
