I have a 94 s10 blazer 4.3L V6 which recently blew a head gasket.. I need to drain the radiator and also drain the coolant from the engine block.

I was looking at the radiator and at the bottom left is a little knob.. I didnt try to turn it yet but im assuming thats where the radiator drains from.. the thing is it looks like its going to drain all over the car.. there isnt a clear path to the ground. Should i drain it from the lower radiator hose?? and how do i drain the engine block? thanks!

You can drain it from the bottom hose, but you won't have much control of the fliud. and it will drain most of you block as well. You can take the skid plate off and drain from the drain plug from the radiator.

Mine's a 95, so there is a change in body style, but on mine the drain cock at the radiator has a rubber hose leading out and to the bottom of the truck on the driver side near the from. i just put a bucket there and drained the rad from there
