you would be amazed at the shit talking spanish people say about white people standing right in front of them. I am pretty fluent in spanish and im a whitey, and ive heard so much shit said about me with a smiling face, i just smile back and pretend like i dont understand. the whole immigration issue sometimes they can do it legally sometimes they cant their just trying to make a better life for themselves, my only peave is that if their gonna live here they can at least learn the language, Ive learned thier language and i live here

My only problem with immigrants is their criminal lifestyle. I know I sound like I'm stereotyping, but I'm not really. This does not apply to a lot of people who imigrate, but unfortunately it's the majority. The crime rate is very high among them. While there are many good things that come from immigrants, I feel that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of having them.

It's funny how everyone says "there here to make better lives for themselves". No, SOME are here to make a better life. But the majority of them that are here are trying to get fake birth certificates and fake documents so they can illegally receive government aid (by way of the American taxpayer).

Near downtown Los Angeles is MacArthur Park, a large Salvadoran community full of illegals. You can walk thru the park and in 10 minutes at least 5 guys will hit you up with "psst, you wanna buy some documents?". That's their business, to show their newly arrived illegal friends how to cheat us taxpayers...and that's happening in every Latino community, not just in L.A.

So while they're here waiting to receive free American money, their kids are using American taxpayer money for medical benefits, education, transportation...and raising car insurance rates because they drive around without licenses or insurance. Some asshole wanted to make it legal for illegal aliens to obtain a CA drivers license. Great, more money out of our taxpaying pockets just so these lazy people can live for free.

You're not kidding. The guy that use to work with my dad was in the bathroom at a club and over heard these guys talking about how this whitey needs to quit dancing with their chicas. Well the guy is actually full blooded hispanic but looks white. He ended up speaking back to them and they shut up real quick.

Illegals should be deported! There are too many hardworking people waiting to enter this country legally for that type of shit.

Simple things to you should do if you live in this country!

1. Speak the language!
2. PAY TAXES!
3. Atleast know the national anthem for christ sake!

There is a strong argument that the 'under god' part is unconstitutional.

However, given the historical context of these words, they should be left as-is, but people should have the freedom not to take these words literally.

Speaking of freedom, they DO have the constitutional right to speak their minds in the US without being told to GTFO. Yes, I know it's just a pet peeve of yours (and not a serious debate), but if you want them to do so, you need a better reason than that. :)

As far as close minded, How is it close minded to not want a person to be legal in a country? How is it close minded to want a citzen contribute to society like everyone else? I pay taxes, I'm sure most of us do not to mention if your making minimum wage you do get a tax return. Close minded? I don't see how it's close minded to want a person to speak the same language as you. I'm sick of see everything in spanish this is america, American's shouldn't have to learn another language to communicate DAILY in there own country...

Heck, I'm tired of everything being in English and Spanish now, I don't want to have to listen to Spanish instructions when I call companies and I don't care to look at Spanish signs on every building either. You can blame the govt for it though.

FYI, I think it's total BS for the illegals to get away with what they do because they give the ones that come in legally a bad rep.

The only reason why I do feel strongly about this is a friend of mine is a Legal Immigrant. He works his ass off to support his wife an kid an lives in a 3 room appartment. He still has a Visa but it went expired and now my family is helping him fight it so he doesn't have to go back to India. We hired a lawyer and some other people. They put him an his family through hell and all he does is work to support his fam and pay taxes. This country is messed up in the fact people like that get screwed over an Illegals get a way with alot.
