instrument cluster swap-out on '96 WS6

I've used the search function but can't find the answer to this question. Please forgive me if it is redundant.

Can I replace the OEM analog instrument cluster in a '96 Firebird for the '98 instrument cluster that comes with the digital odometer?

Are there any adaptations or modifications I must make or is this strictly a "drop-in" replacement?
