90 accord oil and coolant leak HELP!!!!!!!!

my accord is leaking a lot of coolant, i dont know where from, if someone could rederect me to where if might be leaking from, also its leaking oil, its been losing about 3 quarts every 2 weeks, i found a lot of it by searching with my finger under the distributor, seems to be from somewhere there...... someone pliz help, any reply is highly apreciated, thanks in advance..

You have to be more specific with the location of your coolant leak. How do you really expect us to redirect you when we can't see your car on this forum? :screwy: I don't mean to offend you but coolant leak can be coming from anywhere. Don't be lazy and get under the car. Sounds to me that you don't have any interest of doing the fix yourself. Make life easy and take the car to a repair shop.

As for your oil leak source, since you identified a specific area, then we might possibly be able to help you. If the leak source is around the distributor (where the distributor mounts on the engine) then you need to replace a worn out O-ring. The link below will help you identify the location of the O-ring (illustrated part # 11) Good Luck!!!

having the same problem with my 93 Accord.

here's some advice.
Let the car sit cold. Fill the radiator. let it sit for an hour. fill the radiator again, as some air bubbles may have made their way through the system.

start the car, and drive for about 5 min.

pull over, with the car running (and in park, hehe) and look under the car to see if it's leaking.

If yes, and it is coming from the drivers side, it's probably the water pump.
if it's coming from the left, probably a hose. If from the very front, it's could be the radiator or the hose connections to the radiator.

If it is the water pump, it will be a conveinient time to conquer some of the seals and gaskets on the engine, and also replace the timing and balance shaft belts. I bought a kit from ebay (here : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8004707360&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT ) and called around until I found someone who would install my parts for a reasonable price. YMMV. regardless, that auction has a list of the parts you should probably consider replacing when/if it is the water pump.

thanks the O ring solution makes a lot of sence now, havent had time to check wheres the coolant is leaking, is pretty damn cold up over here in milwaukee, but i will check soon and post a specific location, THANKS A LOT

I want to get back on the road! I don't have a leak, but my coolant fan is not coming on which is causing the engine to overheat. If anyone has the fuse diagram for a 1994 Accord EX it would be greatly appreciated.

Ude_loose, redly1 identified all the possible location for you.:grinyes: You just have to wait for a warmer day to mess around with it. Meantime try to limit your car use until problem is fixed. I'm sure you don't want to be stranded out in the cold.
