Anyone out there replaced one of these? With all the ABS and such is it something a fairly smart home mechanic can do? I've replace brakes and cyclinders before and bleed them etc.. With the ABS and the pump with all of that is it something to attempt? My thoughts where to do the work of replacing the MC and bleeding it enough so they work. Take it to my mechanic and have them do a complete replacement of the system fluid which will make sure the bleeding is correct and should take care of any ABS worries...Might save money but then it might not. The part is $200 and the mechanic wants $499 out the door includes the parts and tax. So my time for + $200 and $100 for bleeding etc. or $500 for them to do it all. Give me opinions. Thanks
