What's the difference between a cold air intake and a warm air intake? Is one better then the other in different applications? Thanks.

there is no difference, they are both a complete waste of good money. what do you get from them? 5-10 hp? imagine bolting a lawnmower engine to your car and holding it wide open..... oooooo feel the power

Getting cold air increases its density and you might see a tiny increase in power. Warm air decreases its density, helps the engine reach operating temperature faster, and typically increases fuel efficiency.
