Starting issue

I have a 95 Chevy Corsica and here is the scoop:
1) Car ran perfect except every once in a while stalled at a redlight (roughly 5 times in 12 months)
2) Car always ran well, showed no signs of any complaints (mechanic said so)
3) One day, I get back from the store and realized I forgot something and it would no longer start...
when I go to start the car, at first it tried to spin however gave up. Now it currenly sometimes clicks, sometimes tries to spin -- sort of both, either one or the other. It is not a battery related issue (changed it out), and since it was winter I thought maybe it froze (how while moving? but you never know) so i waited (in ohio, -10 one day, 51 the next), and that is not the issue. I would have a mechanic look at it however it will not move and i would really rather not have to have it towed in to get it looked at.
Any advice, very welcome
Thank you

Right off hand I would say either corroded cables or bad starter. Check the cables carefully to see if any corrosion going to starter.

In my experience the problem is the cables are not getting a good enough connection. Actually my car does that right now and has for awhile.:cwm27:
