Got a daily driver :)

Well after my 97 GSX crankwalked on me I have been driving my sisters Jetta for some time. So today i was like screw that I need a daily driver. I went out and test drove a really well kept Ford Aspire with a frikin 60hp. Yeah that sucked, I couldnt even pick up enough speed to get on the freeway. So i went off and bough a Mazda MX-3. 1.6L 5speed. Its pretty fast and went to 135mph with almost no problems. I got it really cheap and from what i see its pretty good on gas. I like the car and its really sporty inside. So now I am going to buy a GSX either from Cali or some states around me. I also raced a Ford Tempo or some shit like that. Yeah that sucked major,slowest race in a while ... I miss the Eclipse already. Also one of my good friends died about 4 days ago.... street racing. His car rolled at around 150mph about 15-20 times. He was a car maniac like me.

So let me get this straight...you got an MX-3 and it did 135 mph no problem? Explain.

That thing has just over 100 hp...

BTW, sorry about your friend. Why was he doing 150 mph on the street anyway, races don't usually last that long...

Sorry to hear about your friend and like loeman said "keep it on the track", too many victims to crazy street racers. I love high speeds just like the next guy but I know when to do it and when not to.

I could not believe it either that it went up to 135. I really think that the speedometer is off but thats what it showed. That little thing is very light and I will try to get pics and maybe a movie for some proof. Also it kinda sucks at handling. Oh and the speedometer goes to a 150mph :), yeah and its 1.6L 4cyl 88hp hahaaha. By the way, there is a V6 which is a 1.8 and producing 125hp. Yeah, talk about power.

I am sad that I lost a good friend but I kinda knew he had a death wish. He wasnt racing another car, he just got a turbo setup for his and was actually testing it out. I dont know how he ended up rolling so many times. Its life, full of risks.

Probably the high speeds caused the rolls...idk.
