Houston Street Racing Sting

:angryfire:Was anyone in houston racing when the sting happened. I always thought everyone goes to Westhimer to race but i guess there are other places. I hope the HPD find a way for racetracks to let street racers race join thier tracks. Until then this is what i think of them....:monkeypis:HPD

Well see here's the problem and you guys might be having the same one. Cop's tell us to go to the tracks,The tracks tell us to Kiss there asses. We try to work something out with two We bring killer business and yet they have not yet listen to us. It's like they're retarted or something. I say we all get together and build one huge race track owned and opperated by fellow racers and opens and closes whenever we fell like it.That would cut down on a hella lotta races.

Tracks here encourage people to come. But the cops dont say to go there, they say to not race at all, on or off the track.

You guys needs some cops like us then they tell us to take it to the track. But wont help us convince the track owners to stay open later and if possible allow more runs. Here's cops even race with us belive it or not at the drag strip in "cop" car's. But it gets so crowded and It's hard for ppl to even get a run in. That and the driving age to run at the track is 18. MOst racers down here are about 16 and up. So you can see where our delima is. Hopefully with enough begging and pleeding we might get our way.:rocket: :dogpile: :flamer:

Here, we go to Jax Raceways. Tons of people show up every Saturday night. Imports, muscle cars, classics, all show up to race, and just to show. I think every big city should have a track that surrounding communities can come to. Everyone start writing letters, and see what happens.

We race at LACR for legal drags.Every friday night we have wuts called, Friday night Grudge.The track opens at 2pm and closes at 2am.15 bucks for all the runs u can get in.Once a month they have battle of the highschools to.Pretty nice cuz alot of nice cars run.

The Houston Raceway Park has 2 nights for drag racing,Fri(Friday Night Street Racing) and Sun(Sunday Instant Green Street Racing)*what were they smoking when they thought of this:bonghitte :*. But I think nobody goes there or just doesn't know about it. Or maybe it just sucks.I mean the damn place closes at 10:45.

I would love to drag against a Cop Car, then I could see if he/she ould actually catch me in a chase. Heh heh heh:hehe:

odds are they could, and one thing ya forget, outruning them on a drag strip only means one thing, it takes a few seconds longer to catch up :flipa:

the bust in houston was on britmoore, they had helicopters and everything (britmoore is near the beltway8 290 area) another place they go is rankin (off of 45n). where do they race on westhiemer, everytime i go by there its just "shows" and people racin light to light

yea they pretty much decided to produce it almost as soon as it came out, somethin about bein too cool to be left for aftermarket...all they have to do is decide what is goin to be in production model and a price

I used to go to Brittmore and Rankin. THey always busted both at least twice a night. usually at brittmore a helicopter would fly over and then patrol cars would show up.
