I have a 733i with all kinds of problems, mostly electrical, what ever you do fix the problem yourself, a mechanic is going to charge an arm and a leg, and a kidney. I'm trying to locate a owners manual, do you have one, also do you have a complete set of tools in the truck, aparently you can fix any problem the car has with the tools in the truck and the owners manual, send a message back dc_caron@hotmail.com I'm trying to get in comntact with as many 733i owners as possible. thanks

what repair manual do you have? do you want to sell your owners manual? is the special tool you need is it the CO meter? How are the spark plugs and distributer cap? If your ignition wirering is coroded that plays a significant role. if their isn't enough air flow to the engine it will have an incomplete combustion hence high CO levels. This problem you have could be either very simple to fix if you simplify the question. let me know what youve done and whats good, then we can eliminate the complexity of the problem.

check hollow oil feeder bolts on cam oiler rail. if loose they can cause low oil pressuraidle//of course oil sensor itself if leaking-replace it//adjusting valve lash and throttle sensor position may help idle speed.
good luck
