I have a 94 camaro with the delco bose system in it and like i said before i'm tryin to put a after market system in it, I bought some speakers for the back seats and i figured i could just cut the wires from the old speakers and rewire it but it dosent have any speakers there but it has the places for it, i just would like to know what wires to splice into b/c i tried already but it didn't work and i was just wonderin if anybody else has ran into this problem b4 so please get back to me asap, thank you very much!

What you could do is get an amp and then hook up the back speakers to the amp and get a better sound from that.

but wouldn't i have to hook it up to the cd player for it to play the music and stuff or would it do that through the amp

You can take the bose speakers out and put wire in new speakers in the normal locations and put in a new deck. Thats what I did.

You havent ever put in an amp before? The amp hooks up to your head unit, so it would have to be aftermarket (Im not sure about the bose system that came with Maros, but if they are like aftermarket then someone can confirm this) But you hook up the amp to the headunit and then you get some wire and connect that wire to the amp and connect it to the speakers.

from what it sounds like, he wants to use the bose wires to hook up his new after market speakers to. which i dont think will work, for the fact that the bose stuff is way different than everything else. the amp, wires and the deck all run on a different frequency than regular speakers. it all has to do with the kind of sound the bose speakers deliver. everywhere i have been including the guy who's doing my speakers for the new car has told me, u have to run all new wires and get rid of the amps each bose speaker is run on. so i dont think u can even use the bose wires. check on that but thats the understanding im getting from the many places/people i have checked with.

well i've had my camaro torn for a while but i'm takin it slow b/c i don't want to mess up and have to go back and do it over once i put it back together, but i'm wrapping everything i can in the blue vinyl wrap, getting that fabrication paint from walmart and painting the vents and little things like that, i got soe blue and black racing seats off ebay with the universal slider and also got the blue carpet and trunk carpet from ebay too, i took the rear seats out today and workin on two brackets for the amps and goin to put one 12 in between them and one on each side and i also got alot of neon tubes like 8 and 10 inches from ebay and put them under the dash and in the grille and i'm goin to put them in the back too. i'm tryin to put the tuner feelin into the muscle car even though i bet alot of ppl on the website would stay away from that but i love american muscle (the sound, performance) but i like how some of them imports catch ur eyes! but i'm hopin it will turn out good and i wont burn my car to the ground, lol!

Huh???
wtf??

Don't put tweeters in the back. Thats step one.

Buy yourself a good set of 6.5" components, install them up front in the doors/kicks and be sure to amp them instead of running them off of the head unit. If you really feel the need to have rear fill, just get some cheaper but somewhat decent 6x9's or whatever fits in the factory locations. Then put whatever sub combo you want back there. Do you have to run fosgate for your subs? There are plenty of companys out there that are "internet companys" that basically kick almost all mainstream companies in the ass. Adire Audio, Resonant Engineering, Sound Splinter, Incriminator Audio, Ascedant Audio, and Stereo Integrity are the ones that come to my mind.

i'm stickin to stock sizes and all i can put up front 4 inches and i'm goin to cut a hole for prolly 5 or a little more whatever size is closer to that and the back can only have 6 1/2 and i don't wanna mess with the stock alot unless i have too b/c if i want it back stock all i have to do is just take evrything out, get what i'm sayin i'm gonna try not to make nethin permanant!

Custom fiberglass kickpanels, you can make a pair in a day.

Problem solved.
