I have a blown 2.7 and Im looking for a short block to rebuild.Mine threw a rod so it cannot be repaired.I think the cheapest route is a short block? A 2.7 used seems to be way over priced. And you dont know what your getting.
Any help in finding one would be greatly appreciated

Forgot to mention it is a 2000 mod. I think 98 to 02 will work?

try getting a 3.5 liter conversion, it's about the same price that it'll take to find a short block assembly for your car. Visit www.dodgeintrepid.net (http://www.dodgeintrepid.net) and do a search about 3.2/3.5 liter conversions.

I got to go along with theFREAKnasty82 on that one, do a 3.2 or 3.5 swap, the extra ponies and reliability of the engine will put a smile on your face. Make sure you get the 3.2 or 3.5 Aluminum Block engine and not the Cast Iron Block 3.5 as the Aluminum Block engines are more compatible with the year of your Concorde's electronics.

Do a 2.7 to 3.2 conversion. The 3.2 fits in with no problems and you do not have to replace the engine anymore. All you need is a donor car(intrepid or a concorde)

Is there anything at all that I need before I make a swap from a 2.7 to a 3.2? and if I wanted a little more power what about a 3.5 what would I need then?
