Hey
I want to be able to run 10s eventually on a B20B or B20Z with B16A heads. What do i have to do to the internals of this engine, lets say B20B, to be able to run like 20lbs of boost ? sry if i sound stupid but im new to turbos. This is all in a 89 accord, 2500 lb car. at least 11s are desired after turbo, help me out guys

I think trying to make that accord go fast is pointless, but whatever floats your boat...

here is a guy that ran a 13.08 on street tires....

his trap speed is very, very nice though...He's gonna need some slicks

there you go, fixed it

Why is it pointless to go fast in an accord? I think an old accord like that would make a pretty nice sleeper...

I was going to buy my parents accord off them and do something similar (swap of some kind) till I found my Z... and remembered how I like having a more torquey motor :)

I think an 89 accord with wayyyy more power then a type r would be sick as hell, who would expect it ? Mite as well call it a nightmare instead of a sleeper haha. But seriosly the accord ways 2500 lbs, only 300 more then a del sol, now would it be pointless in a del sol ??? But ok, so anyone know how to do the boosting and reinforcing or have a clue ? And by the way that link to the 13s car doesnt work. thanks

Exactly... It would be sick as hell...

Just lower it a couple inches, put on some lightweight non flashy rims, tint the windows, etc

Make it a clean looking sleeper... thats what I want...

Wonder how easy it would be to do the swap...

Whats going on man, I plan to do the same thing in my 89 Accord LXi, I plan to have a Type R head, cams, Intake manifold, etc. Im going to do the VTEC swap then do the boosting. Im trying to decide if i want to do a Jackson Racing Supercarger, a Turbocharger, or both(mad custom). Anyway, check EBay, there is an Integra for sale that has a B20B motor turbo (but no VTEC). This could give you some idea on what to do.

Heres the link to the B20B powered Integra (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1871693792)

Also, I noticed you were talking about doing this in a 3rd Gen Accord. Dude you might wanna go to this site. Its nothing but 3rd Gen Accords. By the way im 89AccordGSR, stop by. You might learn a thing or two.

Heres the link to the 3rd Gen Accord Forum (http://www.3geez.com)

Yea thats me, sup whiteboy. I tell ya man, 3Geez are everywhere. So your gonna boost the B20 huh. That will be tight. Im getting all my parts for mine right now. Im gonna do all motor, see what I run then turbocharge it & see what I run & if im happy with the results the keep it the way it is. But, if im not happy with the results then im going to have a shop put a Jackson Racing supercharger on it. The first TwinCharged B20B motor & first TwinCharged 3rd Generation Accord.
