96 Cav, Guage Cluster.

i have a 96 cavalier, 2.2, base model, i was wondering if i could put in a 2000 guage cluster with a tach? (i dont currently have a tach) also since the millage is lower on the new cluster, is there away to up them up.. like the one i found has 33k on it, is there away i can make it closer to 138k? also since the new cluster has digital millage thing and my stock 96 one doesnt will i need anything else, like i read somewhere that it keeps track of the millage a different way. oh and what else will i need to make the tack work?

well try looking to see if hte plugs are different first. But if you have a rolling milage and the other is a digital i don't know. I had the stock one on my 2000 and i put one from an 01 z24 with a tach, but since they were both digital milage then the number just transfered over
