Well, I should have been more clear, I meant what's the widest that you can get away with? And what offset to use?

I have 15x8s with 275/60s. No rubbing problems at all out back.

Thanks guys! CD, do you mean you have them all the way around? Incidentally I found out yesterday that the mid-80's Camaro IROC sway bars are a bolt-on. Ooo:evillol:

Had them all around. They rubbed up front. BAD. I know of others who have them and claim no rubbing issues though....

Are you talking front or rear bars from the Camaros??? And post the link please...

No link for the IROC bars, I was talking to my little brother last night and he said he had put them on his 86 Caprice years ago <we didn't hang together there for a few years>. What tire did you end up using on the front?

245/60s. Next time I will step up to 255/60 though. The 245s just look a little small on a 15x8 wheel.

The 255/60's don't rub at all on my car. I can turn lock-to-lock no problem.

I never had a problem running 255/60s on mine, either.

Over bumps and shit? Or just sitting? Thanks

I ran 255/60s on mine for two years. I wound up getting rid of them because they had so much grip I was wearing them out. Fast. I'm running 225/70s now, which is what the car is spec'ed for, but the only problem I had with the 255s was wear. Lock to lock steering, high speed driving, fast cornering (i.e. 65mph in a turn rated for maximum 25), ~30mph on ungraded rough dirt roads, they were great for all of it.
