Brand New 2004?

There was an ad in the local paper (Louisville) advertising the Grand Opening of a new Izuzu dealer. They listed a new 2004 Rodeo with auto and A/C for $16999.

Are there really still brand new 2004's still out there? And a new Isuzu dealership? What's up with that? They also listed some 2006 Isuzu pickups. I think I read somewhere that there are re-badged Chevy's.

I looked up the value of a 2004 Rodeo on Edmunds and they had it pegged at about $14K If I could actually get a brand new one for that, it would be tempting. Did the 2004's still have the 100K warranty?

check out the above site. This doesn't include every dealer in the US, but it looks like there are still 20 or so Rodeo's and 20 Axioms in CA.

If you could find a 3.5L direct injected Rodeo for 17k, now that would be a deal ...

Warranty is 7yr/70k

Still not bad.

My local isuzu dealer had a brand new 2002 trooper or two hanging around the lot well into 2004. Same thing with axioms. Those didn't sell too well. People just didn't know they existed!!! I'm sure a 2004 rodeo could be had for <$16K in 4x2 form.

Paid $17K for a 2 year old '97 3.2L LS in '98 if I remember right. That sounds like a steal.

Make sure it's not a Hurricane Katrina New Orleans Blowout Special!

Anybody know what kind of service history the 2004's have had? My '99 burns a quart of oil about every 700 miles.

YIKES! I just put my first quart in at 3000 miles, was exactly one quart low. I will be getting it changed soon with mobile 1, just didnt want to run it a quart low till I can get to it.
