I bought some boush plugs its kinda like a split fire set up and every since I put them in I got worse gas mileage and harder starts. Should I got back to some motorcraft plugs? Has any 1 had this problem with these types of plugs?

you should use autolight double platnium plugs. not sure what year and what motor you have but my 2000 3.0l has a dual firing system and needs the platnium ground and electrode

Is there any way to set gap on these plugs. I have seen people put plugs in out of the box with out gaping then which isnt to good if box was droped and smashed the gap shut.

For all of them people who do not gap new plugs before they install them. A spark plug manufactorer will sell the same part number spark plug for many different vehicles with different engines and use the "most common" gap. You may very well be buying a spark plug for the right application but they could be gapped by the manufactorer for a different application. I have bought them gapped to .010 to narrow before, that would have probably caused spark knock if I just installed them without gapping them .... Just my two cents

bosch plugs are crap. im not going to go on a schpiel about it because im tired of talking about how bad they are ;P. motorcraft/acdelco/ngk are about the best ones to use for any vehicle.

I have heard of several people who noticed similar results with that particualr beand spark plugs. However many people notice the opposite. I think it is just one of those things that one particular engine performs better with a particular plug. Or maybe some people noticed improvements due to the fact the spaek plugs they had in prior to changing them were causing poor gas mileage to begin with. If you do decide to go back to Motorcraft or Autolite mae sure you post your results, maybew you can save someone else the trouble of going through the same ordeal

i had changed to the bosch platinum after 60,000 on the factory ones and noticed an improvement but after 12,000 on the bosch, it started getting sluggish. thats when i found out you need double platinum.
