Remote on 98 GP GT

Hi I have already replaced my factory 6x9's with Pioneer 6x9 5 ways and my front door speaks with pioneer 5 3/4 3 ways. Does or can my car be a 6 speaker system?

I was about to put an 600 watt 4 channell Pioneer Amp in it. And am wondering does the car come with a remote wire? So when i cut the car off it will go off. ( Normally drk blue wire behind radio is remote wire.) is there someone who can link me to a color page that will let me know or tell me? Thanks

I don't belive that the factory radio (non bose) comes with a remote turn on. If this is true than the options would be to install a switch for the amd, or to wire the remote wire to the 12 volt ignition wire that turns the radio on. The third option is to install an aftermarket radio with the remote wire. This wire is supposed to turn the amp of and on with the radio. If you wire it to the 12 ignition the amp will only turn off when the car is off. not when the radio is off. I hope this is of some help to you.
