SUV-Civic side impact!

I came across this video browsing some other civic forums. It’s kind if scary & makes me want to go out & get a cage installed! I guess it’s just life & you take your chances the second you wake up & hop in the shower in the morning.

What year is that civic? & I wonder if our 96'-00' civics would have faired any better? :dunno: Probably not I guess.

I really dont think it matters what kind of car you're in, if an accident with an SUV like that happens, the chance of you surviving are very small. Also note that the people in the SUV may also have died as a result of the rollover.

Im so glad that i don't drive a 4dr Civic.....instead i have something smaller...:lol:

one more reason why SUV's should be out lawed.
they make the rest of the road unsafe and burn fuel like it is cool

I agree any car would crumble when a tank of a truck hits it like that.

Oh man I had to turn that off after the crash. That made me flinch. (I drive a 4dr Civic lol.)

scary stuff. Makes you realize how dangerous driving is. I think i want a 4 pt roll cage now in my car.
