I was thinking about putting in a cool air intake on my 03 tb.Would it be worth it. Any noticeable gains in horse power and fuel economy. Is one brand better than another.

First Guess: 100% waste of time, money, effort, and enthusiasm. Cold air intakes are how thieves steal money from you without going to jail.
Under certain, limited, circumstances, I suspect the better-designed ones don't screw up anything "too much", and may provide an additional percent or two of power or economy. For that privelige, you get to listen to the annoying bellow of the air whoosing through the pipe.
Keep your tires inflated, and you'll do better than buying an intake kit for improving fuel mileage. The only "economy" you're gonna improve with the kit is the seller's...
