I wonder if anyone can help - where is the blower motor resistor on a 2003 Chevy K1500 Suburban?
Is it under the hood or inside the dashboard/instrument panel?

Behind the glove box near the blower motor.

Thanks for that info - it looks like there is some sort of cover assembly in the footwell.
I expect that has to be removed and the motor assemlby will be accessible along wth the resisitor.
The fan does not appear to be operating in either "Climate Control" Auto or manual overide.
Does this point to the resisitor normally?
Cheers

Normally the resistor pak fails leaving some speeds inop, but it also acts as a relay, so this could be the problem.

Hi,
I got the item out - it doesn't look like a resistor.
My Suburban has Climate Control and I think that the item is called the Blower Motor Controller.
Any idea how to tesat it before replacing it?
It's difficult getting spares in UK.
