Okay, what I am about to describe happened an hour ago. (at about 12:30am)
I'm coming back from the movies and decide to go to Jack In the Box. When I turn in, there were two cars exiting and a 98-02 Accord 4cyl in front of me. To be nice to the leaving cars, i decide to move behind the car in front. Little did I know they were meeting some friends of his and proceeded to stayed in front of me -- blocking my way (as my rear was almost in the street).
After a while the punk starts backing up ... I honk my horn and the fool stops... but he is still in reverse when he gases it. The dimwit hits my idling 2003 Tiburon GT. Little snatch decides he's gonna make a run for it and peels out. Angry, I jet my car in front of his, wedged between him , the fence, and the drive through speaker. I know its no feat beating out a 4cyl accord in a 6cyl Tiburon, but I felt proud and got out of the car. The accord decides to back up and make another run for it... and the chase is on. He peels out of the parking lot only to have me in his face again. A block down the road, i slide my car in front of his using a combination of downshifts and e-braking.
I have no experience in power slides, drifts, skidding, or hand-brake stopping -- non whatsoever -- so i cannot describe the details of what I did, but it turned out pretty well.
They decide to run again. Not long after my ferocious attempts at sideswiping his car (a little road rage, sorry), he pulls into a gas station and we all get out of the car. A few of his friends from Jack in the Box then arrive and start making a fit. I look at the damage to my car -- none. Just some paint from his car chipped onto mine. But for the sheer principle of the matter, I decide to call the cops. Once my cell phone goes up to my ear, the fellas decide to run again. This time, tired, and full knowing that my car is in good shape, I decide to let the accord go. I did, however, manage to find one of his friends (though he adamantly denied any type of relationship) and told him i called the cops and had his license plate number. He turned pasty white and bid me a courteous farewell.
I was so shaken up afterwards but still very proud that my little tiburon could pull something off like that. I am sure some more seasoned track racers can push any car (even a tercel) harder than I pushed my car tonight, but nonetheless I am proud.
Just an interesting story of my carbon blue 2003 Tiburon GT V6. I would now like to learn some rally moves to make me into a driver who can handle these situations with more control than I had tonight (though it turned out well enough).

In this day and age man, just get the license # and let the cops handle it. I have an exteremly short temper and know how you feel but in todays world it's a surprise that those guys didn't start shooting at you after you chased them that much (Just some words of wisdom from a guy that has been shot at for chasing somebody that bumped in to his car) When someone pulls out a gun , you then realize that the chase wasn't worth it, but then it's too late.
