Does anyone now what my avatar is?

Do anyone?

I know one Avatar was an early convertible RX7.

I took me a couple of guesses. First I saw some letters, like "TC," but that didn't make much sense. Then I thought it was a trigger-type R/C car control, sort of. Now I think it's a race car helmet.

Am I right?

I was thinking a helmet also. Anyone know where mine is from?

It has the form of a Helmet, because is related to racing. But there is more than just that.
Silver, yes there are letters on it. 3 in total. Not just 2.

Any other guesses???

I know the guys from Europe are sleeping at this time, I'm shure they'll know.

International Touringcar Championship.

It was a Touring series, until 96 i think, where mercedes, alfa romeo, Opel and others european manufacturers.

It was run moslty in Europe, with a few races on south america.

Is that where "DTM" cars are from?

Yes, it started as DTM, a national serie in Germany, but grow a lot, and becomes international (FIA took it). Mercedes practically swept everbody out (way too much tecnology, unlimitted budget, etc.) and the series went down. Basically, the same that happend to FIA GT-1 series. And I hope it doesn't repeat now with the new DTM.
