RSD wiring diagram

I have a 2001 malibu with the RSD radio. I can't unlock it (former owner installed a code- God only knows why-who would steal this OEM thing???) I located the speaker leads,power lead & dash light lead but I can't figure out how it works. If I turn on the key while the radio is unplugged & then connect the wiring plug, It works just fine. But once I turn it off, I'm done. Locked again. Any ideas or wiring diagram info??Thanks

We had a similar problem to this when our battery went dead on our Malibu. The theft system kicked in and we had no idea what the code was. We took the car back to the dealer who then in turn took it to his mechanic and he somehow found out the code for it. I hope this helps.

those things actually have two codes. one is an owner set code and the other is like a backdoor code. go to the dealer and they should be able to help you.
