it only happened twice, and i dont know what it is, i think i pushed my car too hard. like when i come to a complete stop, like at a stop light, sometimes when i let go of the gas pedal, it doesnt roll forward, and then i gas it and i can hear the gear just got shifted in and my car jerks forward a bit. i have an auto. it only happened twice so far, but im afraid of how long i have til it gives out on me. i might as well get the tranny switch to manual right?

Check your tranny fluid if that doesen't solve the problem (add if necessary) then you tranny is toast.
then go manual :)

Hey I have the same problem in reverse gear but only when the tranny gets hot. I posted in maintenance ( http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t5715.html ) and T4 Primera gave me this link

Try changing the fluid and the filter. If that does not work, try cleaning out all of the lines and the cooler which is housed in the bottom of the radiator. I believe that it is a fluid pressure problem. If none of the above works I'm going to clean out the reverse valve body.
Hope this helps,
