97 Jetta GLS

i just purchased this car used, private party, and the alarm is being rather sporadic. thankfully though it has not developed the habbit of shutting off the engine while i am driving it it is still annoying.

it has the factory alarm and an additional dealer installed keyless remote add-on. the previous owner thought that the add-on was the cause of the problem and ripped it out. unfortunately when he did this he removed the fuse from the alarm and wire was broken in the process.
my first question is does anyone have the proper wiring diagram for the add-on? or better yet is anyone still using theirs? secondly does anyone know what fuse is supposed to go in the in-line fuse socket?
