not bad, anything that can spawn enough threads to use the 4 cores will fly, and even if programs don't you'll still multitask like a moffo especially with those fast I/O SCSI drives.
btw depending on what you'll work with it it requires massive amounts of memory you might consider getting more. Of course that is only if it actually eats more than 4 gigs.
PS. what are the specs on those drives?
PPS. as an option if you can you might want to cosider getting the new 30" 3007FPW from dell instead of the 2 2001fp

i work for an oil drilling manufacturer. I kinda work helpdesk for about 1000 users with two other people at about 15 different locations. i have to have different remote managers open for all of the novell servers we have along with our email servers, and some of our business program management servers.
i could work just fine with the p4 2.4 ghz that i had, but im working on a project to implement ZEN works across the whole company. ZEN works is a big helpdesk tool, it lets you do imagining, remote access, and other helpdesk stuff. i need to do a lot of VMWare and the old one wasnt cutting it. last night i opened up my machines and they worked like a charm. i think it definetly helps having that 4gb ram.
