It was somewhat cold and I tried to lower the window and I heard a pop(iguess from the ice) The window didnt move but I could hear the mechanism in the door moving when I hit the button. I am now in the process of taking the door panel off, I hope I can figure it out and not tear the panel up. Once I remove the panel how do I secure the window back to the mechanism. Any help on this would be appreciated.
Also a couple days ago my windshied wipers went ape s**t and started fighting each other. Turns out that my passenger side had quit working and only the driver side wiper works right now. The passenger side just barely moves back and forth an inch while the other wiper is doing it's thing. I have read on here that you can take the boot off at the base of the wiper and tighten the screw, do you think that will fix this?

the window problem might actually be a broken regulator assy in which case you will have to replace it

I agree with carlos80 on the window regulator. More than likely the problem in wipers is just the nut is loose. It only takes a few minutes to check it and may save a lot of aggrevation.

See the thread "Driverside window came off metal brackets" started by morenitaflores. It talks about your window problem and I posted a link in there that will explain how to take the door apart.
