Last night a young man at the age of only 17 passed away due to accessive speed and not wearing a seatbelt. He was a great kid and a good friend to all who knew him. He will be missed ~ :frown: R.I.P Jeff Conner 1/19/06

A 17-year-old East Northport boy was killed last night when he lost control of the truck he was driving, according to Suffolk police.
Jeffrey Conner, 17 of East Northport, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Bellrose Avenue in East Northport when he lost control on a curved portion of the road, said police.
The vehicle flipped over onto the driver side, skidded and struck a fence before it flipped back up and rolled into a parked vehicle in a driveway, according to police reports.
Conner was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.

Yes, I used to be good friends and as time passed we just said Hi & bye and once in a while see each other at a party here and there. I'm pretty close with his best friend who I'm worried about. :frown: I can't even imagine losing my best friend...

that's real sad, i'm sorry to hear that. hope you and everyone else close to him pulls though.
i hope people reading this will see the reason why setbelts are in your car, and actually use them now on. anyone who says it's uncomfortable should be slapped. i always make sure anyone riding in my car, even in the back, wears one.
