Well i was really excited to read this thread...
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=480331
Then i found out they are planning to enter the 06' Speed Channel World Challenge which is my favorite US series. There is probably going to be a contest of some sort as posted in original thread but i want to do this regardless as i think it will be fun. Plus i need to get my creative juices flowing again so this is a fictional car.
I started with the Tamiya Nismo Z-tune kit which is primed and painted Tamiya Pure White. Then i threw that into Photoshop and ive been playing around with some ideas. This was the first idea i had and im pretty happy with it but im going to try a few different things and see what i like best. Then i will print out decals and build the car. I have some info on the car but i dont know what hood , wing, and wheels they will be use=ing but there supposed to post some pics in a week or two as the cars are at the paint shop right now. Also im trying to keep it some what simple because they would have to use vinyl decals.
Please give me some feed back.... this is new to me and suggestions would be great. Enjoy!

or maybe simple like this... kinda growing on me...

This ones kinda generic but what the hell...

Yes red is faster haha. Also, Sean told me that the interior is slated to be red so thats why ive been going with that. The real car was affiliated with Buddy Club which had a red, black and white scheme.

The real car was affiliated with Buddy Club which had a red, black and white scheme.
The real car was actually first the Fujitsubo car running the 23 number in 2001. Then it ran as the Leyjun car - number 63.
The Buddy Club stuff was because we have some friends over there at Buddy Club in the US , and we liked the scheme. Red/Black/ and white.

Sorry i miss interpreted what you had told me. That makes more sense now that i look at the Fujitsubo car. thanks for the clarification.

We will pick one style that we like and use it. The car is going for paint on Monday.
Graphics are easy to do. We also actually have certain series graphics that we have to put on the car.

Yes we stripped a race car. Thats the fun part of race cars. You take them apart and put them back together every season.
The car had been painted a few times. We are making some changes to the car. The best way to check everything out is to take it all apart and put it back together.

Alright guys, now im starting to dig into my personal photography and im going to start getting a little wild. i dont like the lettering with this style but again, i dont have the plain solid color "automotiveforums.com" script yet. I only have the "automotive forums" script from the logo. throw me a bone guys, you must have it around since you had decals on the car already. or better yet, what font did you use.... i cant seem to find it.
This is pretty hot and original.... buckle up!

So I like freackmech graphics, also I like to point in a "3d or gobal" dyrection with a bigger AF logo wich is one of most problem here. I haven't a Ztune redy so be patient with the pics quality.

Hey Chad the truble isn't who do it, the solution is to find it toghether: I think you know: 1 head+1head=a lot of heads. I ask you to use mine as an inspiration like I done with your, if you like, to do it better. You know what said Enzo Ferrari when someone asked him what was the better car: he answered the next. So you could make something better mixing my ideas with your. What we have right now is a fantastic chance: make that awesome car (wich we love a lot) a little bit "our" only helping/advising with the livery: isn't? No one said that it's a contest. Burn your mouse, Chad:naughty:
And after we could to do our replica:eek:

I've a look on the previous liv. design: your words made me to think that we need a design which enhance the car shape: my 2nd work (like mitsu) make this skyline not a skyline and this is wrong: I'll try to work in this "enhanced typeR" dyrection ..
