Hi,
how hard is it to wire up rear speakers to the head unit ?
Is it hard to pull carpet up etc?. Can the carpet easliy be put back?
Thanks in advance,
Robin.

Does your car already have existing rear speakers? If so take out the stocks and wire your new ones up.

The wires for the rear speakers can be traced back near the brake lights. Pull off that small maybe 8x6 plastic cover and in there should be little prongs to attach the speaker wire to. Theres one cover on each side of the car. Search for it, it's there, or at least should be.

the rear speaker pods should already have the wires pre-ran to them regardless if the speakers were ever there or not, just dig your hand down into the hole, and grab for em.

My wires were there, but they didn't work anymore. I rewired them under the plastic molding and under the seats, but not under the carpet.

Civic 1.6 VT, you already have wires for back speakers in the back.

Even though its been said by pretty much every one else: u have wires back there ready for u, just find them and hook them up, simple as that. :frog:
