Ok today i took my z to the professionals as a new problem developed.

i took my car to my mechanic today because as i drove to work this morning my airbag light kept flashing, so since i needed a tune up badly i decided to hand the problem over to the hands of someone else.

im getting the air bag light fixed, what ever that could be.

and im also getting a complete tune up, getting everything looked at.
ill prolly have to get the timing belt changed, plugs and wires, tanny flush and coolant flush, fuel filter, oil change, oil filter, hopefully this will wake my car up a bit.

^I think you've got the right idea now, also have the belts changed while your at it (that is, if they weren't going to do it)... how many miles on your car by the way?? if you give me your vin number, I can run a carfax on it for ya, and see if there have been any maintenance problems or accidents in the past.

i ran the vin number report already every thing check out good, my brother grew up with the kid who sold me the car so thats how i was able to get it cheap, i talked to him earlier today and he said the 60k maitence wasnt done yet, the car has like 63k on it, not bad for a 91.

you think this will bring some life back into my car?

It should a bit, but don't get your hopes up for a big gain. If there was something truly wrong like your timing was off by a lot or your fuel filter is badly clogged you might get a decent jump but you'll probably just end up about the same you are now.

Just wondering with the noted mod's prior to tune-up if you know about how much HP you are pushing. Like I had ask in earlier post about if it was a true Mach1 I meant 1972 Mach1 which you would not believe the HP off the show room floor. Now the 03-05's are no push-over their self because I was told the advertised HP was well under rated actual HP. So I guess my question is like others mentioned, Is it a power problem or something like the roll vs. stop due to engine set-up. That does make lots of since if like said in a prior post about the approx. -2- second difference between the two. There is your -2- car lenght difference or more. Good Luck - - Keep on, keeping on
