rear bumper support rusted out...

hey i was curious if any of you ppl ever tried mounting the rear bumper without the rear support.. is it possible? mines is kinda rusted out and i havent had time to check the junkyard.. also how many of u aware that wingswest went out of business? i called a dealer today for pricing and he told me they shutdown 2 yrs ago but there site and everything still works lol told me one day the guys showed up for work and was told out of the blue they are done and now the plant is abandoned with the tools still in it.. wierd huh anyways all input appreciated.. does wingwest rear bumper need support to be mounted?

no the wingswest rear bumper does not need support to be mounted...I know someone that has one and he didn't use the rear support.

can i mount my stock bumper without the rear support? to get rid of a lil weight...or the front bumper support? i like to get rid of weightt in any way i can

you sould be able to for the stock one. i have seen it before. but i dont know what all was done to be able to do that. sorry
