tension out of belt

imy work van is an aerostar - the alternator has went out - i have no manual - how do i take out the tension of the belt - thanks

does anybody know how to do this - i just need to know where the tensioner is and how to take the tension off the belt

i figured it out - it is not a spring loaded tensioner - it is beside the alternator - u got ot loosen the alternator, and then loosen the bolt on the tensioner - i installed a new alternator and new belt
