Hey guys..

how ya'll doin?

well, my problems never ends. here is another one..

autosave warranty company called us and told us that they cancelled our warranty, cuz there was an odometer fraud. and we said what????????
right away we went to dealer where we got the car and they act like.. what?? who did it?? we dont know about it blah blah.. we goot the car like 08/12/2005 with 124.320 miles. and carfax report says the car was 124.320 miles on 03/07/2005 and it was 124.484 miles on 05/10/2005. also this guys had told us when we got the car, that he drove it 2 weeks home to work. it is perfect blah blah.. and his house is 42 miles away from his work. but there on the papers we cant see that he drove the car 2 weeks. l mean we cant see that mileage.

anyway.. now we offered them, fix our car and give the warranty refund us or we will report u goverment office and turn u guys in. which means, at least 10.000 bucks penalty fee and lose the bussines licence. (somebody told me)

so what do u think about this stuation guys??

if they dont be willing to pay for repair and if we report them, is there any other way for them to save themself and keep doing their bussiness or they will definetely lose the licence?

thank you..

What I think happened here is that someone along the lines, like the dealer in question here or perhaps a previous owner/dealer, got lazy and didnt register the car with the exact mileage. Instead, they guessed what the mileage was at the DMV/courthouse and thus a discrepancy happened as far as Carfax is concerned. Usually on cars with over 100,000 miles, they are odometer exempt anyway so the DMV/courthouse isn't very tough on making sure the mileage is correct. Before you go sueing the dealer here, ask the warranty company if they think it is at all concievable that the above mentioned situation may have happened. Especially since the mileage and date information in question here si so close date-wise as well as mileage-wise.

no man.. dealer did this on perpose.

the reasion l am saying this is, now they dont answer their phones. and when we catch them on the phone, they say, let me call u right back, never call back. turn off the phones... they did it.. when we said that, l could tell by looking at his face.. he was like '' damn l am busted''.

by the way, l am not sueing them man..
l am just reporting them to a goverment office, so they will investigate and find oout the truth and get their bussiness licence and make them pay some penalty fee.

but l just dont know, if they can do something like cheat, and save themself from this stuation. do u guys have any idea?

PLEASE GUYS, JUST GIVE ME ADVICES.. WHATCAN I DO TO THEM?

IF THEY PAY, I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING.. IF THEY DONT PAY FOR REPAIR, I WILL PERORT THEM.. BUT WHATELSE CAN I DO? I WANNA GIVE THEM SOME DAMAGE, LIKE THEY GAVE ME!!!

THANK YOU.

if they give you a hassel, turn them in to a local news station.

When you confronted them like you did, they may just be avoiding you because you came on so strong about reporting them and what not. If you're going to try and "hurt" them back, all you can do is report them and like cavalier said, call a news station on them. Otherwise, only the government can actually punish them for doing it. It is against the law. If they are guilty and it is proven, you may be able to get out from under the car because they lied basically when they sold it to you...lemon law or something. Unfortunately, they probably will vanish and no one will ever see them again if this is a common thing for this dealer and the government investigating them will uncover more fraud or something. I don't know what to tell you here man. Keep after them in person whenever possible and make sure the authorities act quickly is about all the advice I can give you if this dealer really is guilty of odometer fraud. Good luck either way.

hopefully they will lose their licence and pay thousands fee..
