Certificate of title

Hello. My insurance company is paying me what my car was worth because it was totaled. Sorry for the dumb question but what do I do with the title? I know it needs to be sent in to trenton (NJ) but where do I sign it? There are a few spots on it like lien, and release and I just dont want to mess it up.

You could possibly call the DMV office and explain to them what is going on and you don't know where to sign your title. They should be able to guide you in the proper procedure. Your insurance agent might also be able to assist you, as they probably have been through this before.
